Today we welcome Sophie from Little Stringers Invites to Mr & Mrs Unique. Sophie designs contemporary wedding stationery for the modern couple. Couples can choose from a range of stylish stationery collections, which can be personalised with their choice wording and colour theme.

Tell us a bit about your business…
Little Stringers Invites is the home of contemporary wedding stationery design. Little Stringers Invites has been designed especially for the modern couple, who are looking to create something special with their Wedding, which will be remembered as something special and one of a kind.
What made you start up your business…
I have always been a designer and my main job used to be designing greetings cards and other stationery and gift products. I had designed a few wedding stationery ranges for friends and I really enjoyed it. After receiving some great positive feedback about my designs, I decided to take it further.
After getting married myself a couple of years ago, I realised there is a lack of fresh and modern wedding stationery in the market and I couldn’t wait to share my passion for modern stationery design with couples looking for something unique, and so I set up Little Stringers Invites.
What makes you Unique…
I like to think originality makes Little Stringers Invites unique, using influences from current design and wedding trends in my designs, keeping things fresh with a creative modern edge. My stationery is heavily design based rather than craft based.
What kind of couples match your style of service…
Little Stringers Invites has been set up especially for the modern couple who are looking for something different for their wedding stationery. Whether they have set ideas, or do not know where to start, I love the creative process and turning their needs and ideas into a reality. I love couples looking to create a really personal wedding, which reflects their lives and what they are all about!
Tells us what you love about your business…
I love the creativity my job brings. I love meeting couples and hearing all about their ideas and wedding plans. I love to design unique, leading edge wedding stationery that is fresh and original and meets my clients’ needs.
I like to know I have provided a professional, easy and stress free ordering process. I want to help make my clients wedding day something extra special and something to be remembered!
Most favourite event/ wedding…
That is really tough, as I have loved every single wedding I have had the opportunity to work on and meeting and working with so many different couples.
I was lucky enough to work with a couple over in Australia who were planning a relaxed, rustic vineyard wedding which was right up my street! It was wonderful to be able to help create this style through their choice of wedding stationery and to see the photos from their special day, where everything came together perfectly.
People’s reaction to your business…
From listening to feedback from the couples I have met and from attending wedding fairs, the reaction to Little Stringers Invites is great.
People are captured by the modern designs and interested in how it may be possible to carry their chosen design onto as many or as few items as they like in order to create a style to the whole wedding day.
Future plans…
I am always designing new wedding stationery ranges and always researching trends in the current industry. As well as wedding stationery, I am also looking to develop my other stationery in the future such as party invitations and birth announcements!
