Inspiration…
Brisbane is known for its eclectic style and natural beauty. From the open air markets, secret festivals and powder white beaches to assorted hand-made treasures and mismatched decor, i adore the bohemian, off-beat style this part of the world has to offer.
I wanted to create a unique, colourful, summer-y bohemian vibe within this shoot. I aspired to create a vibrant shoot that combines a taste of byron bay style with the english woodland landscape, bringing the magical ‘summer of love’ feel to the forests of england.
A young, head-over-heels-in-love couple celebrate the end of their festival-filled summer with a vibrant, naturally-beautiful wedding in the forest. With hand-made macramé art work shipped from byron bay itself, an ethereal, bohemian dress by daughters of simone, eclectic décor details, plenty of lush blooms and a beautifully-knotted backdrop, our shoot represents the bochic couple – a relaxed, fun-loving couple looking for something a little alternative.
