‘Bridal Blues’…
So, the wedding is over. You’ve spent months, possibly years, planning, meeting guest demands and keeping on top of a million different suppliers; Now it’s all over…sounds like heaven, right? Sure, the stress has been alleviated and you’re over the moon to be married, but at the same time you can’t help feeling a little bummed that all the excitement, organising and being ‘The Bride’ is over.
I’ve been there and got the t-shirt so thought I’d try to help by passing on a few suggestions to beat the blues…
Don’t feel guilty…
It is perfectly normal to feel sad that your wedding day is over!! You’re entitled to mourn over something that your life has been focused around for the past year, and feeling a tad emotional doesn’t make you any less happy to be married; Just ensure your new husband/wife knows how you feel. Chances are they will probably feel the same!
