DIY Decor for your event…
Today I would like to share with you one of our DIY projects that features in our latest Mr & Mrs Unique Magazine. If you are looking to get crafty for your wedding day, origami (transforming a flat sheet square of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques,) is a really fun project to get involved with.
Luckily for us, the lovely Alice from Fleur De Lace loves a craft project and offered to create these cute origami boxes that can be used as favours, decoration, or even a cake topper… Here’s how she does it….

Want to wow your guests as a DIY genius? Well, this ‘How to’ is for you? It looks confusing BUT once you get the first one done, it all starts to come together and the results are awesome. We have used them as décor but they could be functional favour boxes, stringed together as bunting, cake toppers etc.
What you need: lots of square Paper or thin card, a flat surface, two hands and a bit of patience.
For each box you need six bits of square paper. Origami paper or decorative scrapbooking card comes in squares already. My paper was 6 inch squared.
