Day of the dead/Mexican inspired cake…
First up is this beauty from MMU’s very own Day of the dead/Mexican photoshoot. This is one of Natasha from Nevie-Pie Cake’s creations, and as always, she did a spectacular job!
She told us about the ideas she had for this cake…
I wanted to create a cake that referenced the Mexican Day of The Dead without going down the floral skull route. I love the bright colours and paper flowers, so I definitely wanted to use paper flowers. I researched some traditional patterns which I painted onto the tiers.
