Established over 8 years ago and having delivered over 2000 successful events PapaKåta are the leading supplier of Teepees and the exclusive provider of Sperry sail cloth tents in the UK.
What made you start up the business…
Directors Amanda and Richard Monaghan founded PapaKåta as a result of their own wedding preparations in 2006. While struggling to find a unique wedding venue in the North of England, Amanda and Richard discovered the Scandinavian Teepees and fell in love bringing together a totally unique setting in a landscape of their own choosing. From the original three Tepees purchased for their own wedding, interest and demand grew rapidly as did the number of Teepees and in turn the PapaKåta family.
